A. D. Yeager, 82, former Columbia resident and employee of M. C. West Construction Company, died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at his residence in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Columbia. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wedesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. to service time. He was born July 20, 1927 in Lawrenceburg, the son of the late Ottis Eugene and Jennie Mae Weaver Yeager. He was a veteran of World War II having served as a heavy equipment operator in the US NAVY Seabees. He was married to the former Betty Ruth Duncan for 32 years. She preceded him in death in 1979. He married Katherine Simpson Myers on June 2, 1981 in Springfield, Mr. Yeager was retired was a heavy equipment operator for M. C. West construction Company for a number of years and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian fChurch. Survivors include: his wife Katherine of Bowling Green; four sons, Larry Yeager and his wife Linda of Columbia, David Yeager of Franklin, Bunkie Myers and his wife Carolyn of Bowling Green, and Steve Myers and his wife Ann of Bowling Green; three daughters, Pam Rochelle and her husband Jimmy of Columbia, Debbie Willoughby and her husband David of Bowling Green, and Lynn French and her husband Wayne of Clearwater, FL; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde Yeager and James Yeager and his wife Peggy, all of Columbia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
