View Video TributeMrs. Alice Marie Haskins Thurman, 73, resident of Baptist Church Road in Culleoka, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Chaplain Eddie Rogers officiating. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Tom Haskins and Mary Jones Haskins. She was first married to Pelham Potts and after his death married James "Jimmy" Thurman who preceded her in death on February 13, 1997. Mrs. Thurman is survived by nieces, Marcia Waynick of Columbia and Susie (Ronald) Cates of Culleoka; great-nephew, Timothy Collins of Columbia; great-niece, Mandy Cates of Columbia; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by thirteen siblings.
