View Video Tribute Aline Johnson McNeely, 88, retired seamstress and former longtime resident of Greens Mill Road, died Friday, March 7, 2014 at Signature Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hardison Cemetery on Joe Brown Road. The family will visit with friends Sunday after 12:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John Lee Johnson and Winnie Alberta Cammuse Johnson. She was married to James David "Jimmy" McNeely who preceded her in death on August 22, 2009. Mrs. McNeely was employed for several years at Maury Manufacturing. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. She was a member of Browns Chapel Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Thomas Dorris (Barbara) Duvall of Columbia; two daughters, Diane Lovell of Columbia; Jamie Smith of Franklin; five grandchildren, Heather Owen, Leigh Anne Duvall, Jason Duvall, Nicholas Smith, Mason Smith; two great grandchildren, McKenly Owen and Kannon Owen; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Gail Duvall; one sister, Bonnie Greenfield and one brother, Tommy Johnson. Active pallbearers will be Lee Bailey, Aubrey Baker, Reggie Andrews, Johnny Yancey, Wayne Alley, and Ronnie Huffman.
