Alvin M Gulley

Alvin Marion Gulley, 72, retired employee of AVCO Aerostructures Company in Nashville and resident of Riverside Drive, died Friday May 29, 2015 at Signature Health Care. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Logan County Kentucky native was the son of the late George Gulley and Mable Whitman Gulley. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his sister, Naomi "Nan" Beard of Linden and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
