Mrs. Ann Lightfoot West, 77, homemaker and resident of Darks Mill Road, died Saturday, February 06, 2016 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Evans officiating. Born June 20, 1938 in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late William Alexander Lightfoot and Edna Newton Lightfoot. On May 11, 1957 she married Malcolm Glenn West, Sr. who preceded her death November 29, 2009. She owned and operated Floral Design Shop for several years. She was an active member of the James K. Polk Association, where she participated in many of the fundraising activities, including chaired the antique show and the dinner dance. She also served as board member of the James K. Polk Association. She was a volunteer with the Maury Regional Hospital Auxiliary and was chairman of the CMA Benefit Ball. Mrs. West was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church and the Volunteer Garden Club. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth (Ken) Crouch and Joanna (Kevin) Dransfield both of Columbia; son, Malcolm Glenn "Butch" (Julia) West, Jr. of Columbia; and grandchildren, Evin Dransfield, Sarah Crouch, Carter West, Katie Dransfield, Campbell West, and Lawson Crouch.
