Annette Wilkes Heindryckx, 89, former resident of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at her home of 45 years in Plymouth, Michigan. The family will visit with friends Monday at Oakes and Nichols from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery with Rev. William Cargo officiating. Born in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Clement Wade Wilkes and Annie Dane Davis Wilkes. She was reared in the Spring Hill Community and graduated from Spring Hill High School and as a young lady was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church. She was married to Albert Oscar Heindryckx from March 9, 1945 until his death in 1996. Mrs. Heindryckx was a faithful member of the Plymouth First United Methodist Church and active in the Sarah Ann Cochrane Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, John Davis Wilkes. Survivors include her children, Anne (Van) Varner of Plymouth, Michigan, Catherine (Paul-Leon) Tuzeneu of Nashville, Marion (Ron) Benton of Chelsea, Michigan, Angela Harris of Reseda, California; eight grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Wilkes Whited of Longwood, Florida; and sister-in-law, Peggy Wilkes of Destin, Florida.
