Mrs. Annie Lou Hinson Brown, 83, resident of Lasea Road in Spring Hill, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White officiating. Burial will be in Hardison Cemetery on Joe Brown Road. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late William Sherman Neal Hinson and Lucille Beard Hinson. On December 20, 1944 she married Auslyn Brown who preceded her in death May 31, 1991. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker who loved quilting, embroidery and all kinds of crafts. She was a member of New Lasea Church of Christ and a former longtime member of Brown's Chapel Church of Christ. She is survived by two daughters, Marie Brown (Allen) Brown, Margaret Louise Brown (Ronnie) Huckaby both of Columbia; two sisters, Agnes (Charles) Shouse of Columbia, Esther (Rayburn) Grooms of Spring Hill; one brother, Milton Hinson of Franklin; three grandchildren, Pam (Troy) Hendley, David (Melody) Huckaby both of Spring Hill, Dena (Stephen) Johnson of Columbia; five great-grandchildren, Justin Briggs, Savannah Huckaby, Brittney Huckaby, Lindsey Johnson, Austin Johnson; four beloved dogs, Tim, Angel, Emily, Goldie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William "Bud" Hinson and Larry Junior Hinson. Pallbearers will be David Huckaby, Troy Hendley, Dwight Shouse, Jerry Shouse, Justin Briggs, Joshua Lunn and Stephen Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of New Lasea Church of Christ.
