Anthony Eugene Baker

Anthony Eugene Baker, 60, died Wednesday, September 29, 2026, in Decatur, Alabama, where he had made his home for the past several years. He was born December 16, 1965.

Anthony was a dedicated and hardworking man who served as a Terminal Manager at Yellow Freight Trucking. He loved football and enjoyed doing yard work. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren and making memories with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Jones Baker; his daughter, Brittany Baker of Columbia, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Bristin Cox, Carter Cox, and Carson Cox; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wallace Baker, and his brother, Chris Baker.

The family will visit with friends Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.
