View Funeral WebcastArnold "Ernie" Kenneth Ward, 63, self-employed carpenter and resident of Hohenwald, died Friday, February 13, 2015 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com . The Maury County native was the son of the late James Junior Ward and Lera Frances Slaughter Chapman. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his sons, Kenneth Ward, Jr. of Prospect; Zack (Vanessa) Ward of Hohenwald; Daniel (Heather) Ward and James Kenneth (Shirley) Ward, both of Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; sisters, Deborah (John) Riley and Tammy Ward Jeffries; and brother, James Edward (Marlena) Ward. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Zack Ward, Kenneth Ward, Jr., Steve Clark, Danny Slaughter, Bob Mitchell, David Slaughter, Chris Clark, and Chris Riley.
