Barbara Anne Cox Roberts

Barbara Anne Cox Roberts, 84, resident of Columbia, died Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at her residence.

Barbara was born on November 29, 1940 in Franklin, TN to the late Delmer Stanley Cox and the late Mary Magdalen England Cox. She Married Claude E. Roberts, Sr. on September 1, 1959 and spent 17 years together before his death in February, 1976. She loved singing at her church, and going to family reunions. Barbara loved everybody, especially her family. She was a great mother who will be greatly missed. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters Betty Randolph, and Deborah (Gary) Hardin; grandchildren, Mark (Ashley) Randolph, Stephanie (Martin) Speciale, Jesse Hardin, Ashton (Mark) Overstreet, Dustin McKennon; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, brothers, and sisters.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara is preceded in death by her son, Claude E. Roberts, Jr.
