View Video TributeView Funeral Service WebcastBarbara Jane Brown Staggs, 70, retired employee of Kusan in Franklin, died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at her residence on Saddlewood Drive in Lewisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Dwain Brown and Bro. Richard VanCleave officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Lung Association of Tennessee, 1 Vantage Way, Suite D220, Nashville, TN 37228. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Marshall County native was the daughter of the late Williard Davis and Elizabeth Bowen Davis. In her free time Ms. Staggs enjoyed playing cards and always loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughter, Tina (Richard) Bennett of Columbia; her son, George Arnold of Lewisburg; four sisters, Mary Roland of Franklin, Ellen Stinnett of Cornersville, Brenda Foster and Judy Foster both of Columbia; three brothers, Wilson Eugene Davis of Lewisburg, Robert Wayne (Brenda) Davis of Columbia, Tommy D. (Pat) Davis of Mt. Pleasant; nine grandchildren, Linda Mosely, Melissa Mosely, Lisa Arnold, Jimmy Lee (Betsy) Arnold, Brian James Arnold, Tonya Arnold, Kimber Bennett, Layla Bennett, Jamie Lynn (Casey) Hill; nine great-great grandchildren (and one on the way); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Brown, Jr. on January 27, 1976; a son, James Eddie "Jimmy" Arnold; two brothers, Roy Davis and Dennis Davis; two sisters, Patricia Davis, Era Clark; and a great-granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Casey Hill, Robin Stinnett, David Foster, Robert "Bubba" Davis, Jr., Curtis Davis, Eddie Roland and Corey Hay.
