Bernadine Goddard Bordner

Mrs. Bernadine Goddard Bordner, 83, homemaker and resident of Brannon Court, died Monday, February 15, 2010 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clare Hendricks officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to James K. She was married to Eugene Bordner who preceded her in death on April 20, 1981. Mrs. Bordner was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Paul Bordner, Sr. of Anna Marie Island, Florida; one daughter, Pat (Cotton) Owen of Columbia; five grandchildren, Kevin (Heather) Owen and Tracy (David) Rose, both of Columbia; Paul Bordner, Jr. and Patrick Bordner, both of Baltimore, Maryland; Sue Ellen Bordner of Palm Harbor, Florida; and three great grandchildren, McKenly Owen, Kannon Owen, and Cameron Bordner.
