View Video TributeView Funeral Webcast Betty Jean Montgomery Ingram, 79, retired from the Business Office of Maury Regional Medical Center with 27 years service and resident of Overton Drive, died Friday, April 1, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkes Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Maury Regional Health Care Foundation, 1224 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia 38401 or Mynders Community Club, c/o Tim Clark, 4227 Moore Lane, Culleoka 38451.Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. Born and raised in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Sammie John Montgomery and Laura Mae Dooley Montgomery and a long-time member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. She was married to Billy Edward Ingram who died December 6, 1998. Survivors include daughters, Sandy (Doyle) Collins of Columbia and Twyla (John) Uggla of Culleoka; son, Cody (Connie) Ingram of Columbia; aunt, Bessie Richardson of Newnan, Georgia; grandchildren, Steve Ingram, Becky (Josh) Kennedy, Amy Ingram, Derrick (Jessica) Kinzer, Angela (Junior) Shrader, Brandon (Allie) Collins, Sassy (Gideon) Bostwick, Mike (Amanda) Uggla, Daniel Uggla, and Jane (Matt) Tanner; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sons, "Chippy" Ingram and Ross Ingram; sister, Frances Montgomery Erwin; and brothers, Vance Montgomery and Leonard Montgomery. Active pallbearers are Steve Ingram, Derrick Kinzer, Brandon Collins, Mike Uggla, Josh Kennedy, Gideon Bostwick, Scott Phaneuf, Gary Montgomery, and Kevin Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers include Richard Montgomery, Mike Erwin, Smitty Ingram, Bobby Ingram, Jr., Jeff Ingram, Dale Ingram, Daniel Uggla, Junior Shrader, Judy Campbell, special cousin, June Montgomery, Maury Regional Medical Center family, Grace Sunday School Class, neighbors and friends, Dr. Paul Perryman, Central High School 49ers, Mynders Community Club members , and Young at Heart.
