Beverly Ann Dickens Minor, 54, former employee of NHC Hillview and resident of Brown Hollow Road, died Friday, December 19, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wendell Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Hardison Cemetery on Rock Springs Road. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late James W. Dickens and Mary Lou Robinson. She was married to William R. Minor, Sr. who preceded her in death on February 25, 2013. Mrs. Minor enjoyed reading and solving crossword puzzles; but more than anything, she loved her grandchildren. She was a hard worker and always a blessing to other people. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughters, Amanda (Willie) McDow of Lawrenceburg; Mary Beth (Steven) Barnett of Columbia; stepson, William Robert Minor, Jr. of Pulaski; grandchildren, Landan Minor, Brett Barnett, Rickey Musgrove, Clayton Musgrove, Ryan Barnett; sister, Sandra (Ronnie) Davis of Columbia; one niece; two nephews; and special friend, Mary Wagster Lunn. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Estes. Active pallbearers will be Steven Barnett, Willie McDow, Donald Estes, Michael Estes, and Ronnie Davis. Honorary pallbearers include Glenn Rochester, Linda McCord, Justice Tibbs, staff of NHC Hillview, and employees of Goodwill Industries of Columbia.
