Beverly Kimbro Woods

Beverly Ann Kimbro Woods, 79, former employee of Richland Inn and resident of South Laurel Circle, died Monday, May 4, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Dawson and Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born April 7, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Kimbro and Lucille Herndon Kimbro. On September 17, 1955 she married Bobby Earl Woods who preceded her in death on February 14, 2014. She had also worked at StorkeTowne. Mrs. Woods was an avid bowler. She also enjoyed working with crafts and painting. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy (David "Buggy") LeMay of Columbia; son, Allen (Sharon) Woods of Columbia; grandchildren, Brandon (Victoria) Woods, Krystle LeMay, Candace Carns Woods, Kaitland LeMay; great grandchildren, Jordan Woods, Jeremiah Woods, Kylie Carns, Jielle Woods, Jalese Woods, and arriving soon, Fraylex LeMay; sisters, Zane (Bob) Daugherty, Donna (Wayne) Bohannon; sister-in-law, Margaret Kimbro; and special niece, Stacey Woods Jones. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Keith Woods; grandson, Justin Woods, and brother, Gerald Kimbro. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
