View Funeral Webcast Billie Bell Kincaid, 83, retired stock room supervisor for J. C. Penny Company and long-time resident of Creek Trail, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Donna Higginbotham and Rev. Davy Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer" america s foundation> The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Will Lewis Bell and Nora Primm Chamberlain Bell and 1949 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She married Arnell Polk Kincaid on September 2, 1950. Their thirty-five year marriage ended in his death October 17, 1985 and her love and devotion to his memory continued throughout her remaining years. Mrs. Kincaid was a long-time, faithful member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church. She served as a volunteer with Maury Regional Medical Center Auxiliary for a number of years and loved flower gardening. Affectionally known as "Granny" by all, she is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Todd) Greer of Columbia; sons, Allen (Pam) Kincaid of Tanner, Alabama, Jeffery Lewis (Teresa) Kincaid of Columbia, and Michael Arnell (Pamela) Kincaid of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters, Virginia Tallent of Columbia, Barbara (Frank) Thomas of Columbia and Jane Jones of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Joe Fearon Bell of Columbia; grandchildren, Brian Allen Kincaid, Jamie Marie smith, Curt Lewis Kincaid, Davy Lee Kincaid, Katherine Moore Kincaid, and Jack Arnell Kincaid ; great-grandchildren, Alyvia Kincaid, Auston Kincaid, Brannon Allen Kincaid, Joseph Landon Kincaid, Elyssa Katherine Kincaid, Aubrey Elizabeth Kincaid, and Cody Jameson Smith; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Lee Harlan, and Lounora Grimmett; and brothers, James Thomas Bell and L. C. Bell. Brian Kincaid, Curt Kincaid, Davy Kincaid, Dennis Smith, Jack Kincaid, and Garrick Jones will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Dan Henry, Jimmy Seaborn, Steve Farris, her nieces and nephews, and the congregation of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church.
