Billie Westmoreland Young

Billie Westmoreland Young, 84, former resident of Columbia, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Chattanooga where she made her home for seventeen years. She was a member of Abba's House.Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Jones Young; Sister, Mary Edith Gillum and brothers, Howard West moreland and George Westmoreland. Survivors are her son, Mark T. (Jane) Young, Ooltewah; daughter, Joan Lomelo, Las Vegas, NV; sister, Rebecca Burgett, Columbia, TN and brother, James Westmoreland, Oklahoma City, OK; Three grandchildren, Bonnie (Joshua) Davidson, Chattanooga, Alexandria and Victoria Lomelo both of Las Vegas, NV; four Great-Grandchildren, Caelan, Gavin, Natalie and Ian Davidson; two step-grandchilden, Brittany (Michael) Teets and Maeghan Ottinger and two step-great grandchildren, Bentley and Anniston Teets all of Ooltewah. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 8th at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Culleoka. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols.
