Billy Bryant

Billy Bryant, 61, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at his residence in Lewisburg. At his request there will be no services. Oakes & Nichols is in charge of announcements. The Marshall County native was the son of the late Carroll Monroe Bryant and Bessie Margaret Lee Bryant. He was a 1969 graduate of Marshall County High School and a 1971 graduate of the Vanderbilt Radiologic Technology program. After college he worked at Lewisburg Community Hospital and later began his career in the floral industry with Bob Lloyd's Flowers. His career continued working with numerous flower shops including Mack's Flowers, Bloomer's Flowers & Gifts, A to Z Flowers, Carol's Petals & Lace and The Carriage House. Billy was also a former sales associate for Dillard's at Cool Springs. He loved the culinary arts and was an excellent cook with a vast collection of cookbooks. To all who knew him he was an enjoyable and devoted friend who loved reading and had an appreciation for the finer things in life. Survivors include several aunts, cousins and a host of friends.
