View Video TributeBobbie Harmon Latta, age 78, a long time resident of Country Club Lane, departed from this life on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 with her loving family at her side.Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wendell Robinson officiating. Mrs. Latta was born on February 28, 1932 to the late J.M. (Bunk) and Ethel Harmon.She was a member of Graymere Church of Christ for many years. She was retired from Bell South and Maury Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Latta was a member of the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiques (APTA), United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) and Telephone Pioneers. She is survived by her children, Patti (Walter) Hawranek of Bloomington, Indiana; David (Manon) Latta of Bristow, Virginia; and Connie Latta of Brentwood, Tennessee; brother, Milton Harmon; and three grandchildren, Lauren Hawranek of Bloomington, Indiana, Noah Latta and Emma Latta both of Bristow, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Latta. Pallbearers will be Ken Latta, Jr., Steve Latta, Grant Dillard, Donny Walters, and Mike Cheek. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Neatherly, K.L. Osteen, Columbia Central Class of 1950 and members of Telephone Pioneers.
