Bobby Eugene Dye

Bobby Eugene Dye, 94, died Sunday, March 15, 2026 at his residence in Culleoka.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Polk Memorial Gardens with Brother Christian Pruett officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.

He was born on April 28, 1931 in Davidson County, TN to the late Euel Garfield Dye and the late Myrtle Novolene Wilkins Dye. On December 29, 1951 he married the love of his life Mary Lou Webb, they devoted 74 years of marriage to one another. He retired from Occidental Chemical Company in the maintenance department as well as from Maury County Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator/road grader. He was a long time member of Loyal Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Mary Lou Webb Dye of Culleoka; son Mark Dye of Culleoka; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane Love and Tim Love of Columbia; two grandchildren, Chris Dye and Jonathan (Tara) Dye; brother-in-law Tony (Patricia) Collins; and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Raymond Eugene Dye; three sisters, Sue Martin, Janice Marie Duke, and Linda Boyd.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
