View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Mrs. Brownie Pearl Hight Wise, 93, resident of Old Columbia Road in Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Winchester. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rodney Livingston officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Marshall County. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be extended at oakesandnichols.com. Born in the Culleoka Community in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Merritt C. "Buddy" Hight and Lerla Brown Hight and attended the Calvary Baptist Church. She was a seamstress for several years at Maury Manufacturing Company and later worked as a LPN at Maury County and Williamson County hospitals. Mrs. Wise enjoyed sewing and gardening and considered that the best time of her life was spent on Mickey's farm in Chapel Hill with her little dog "Buzz." Her husband, Maryland Wise, died March 6, 1989. Survivors include her children, Anita Wise (Jack) Shupe of Radcliff, Kentucky, David (Geraldine) Wise of Leoma, Patricia Wise Ikard of Tullahoma, Peggy Wise (Paul) Womack of Knoxville, William Douglas "Buddy" (Shirley) Wise of Birmingham, Alabama, Mickey Wise of Chapel Hill; sisters, Edna Davidson of Columbia and Mildred Edwards of Union City; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Hazel Mooningham, Janie Howell; and brothers, George Hight and Milton Hight. Serving as pallbearers James White, John Rippy, Wesley Clark, Allen Vandiver, Tommy Hight, Sr., and Tony Love.
