Cameron Kendall Scott

Cameron Kendall Scott, 22, employee of Calcium Sillacates Corp. and resident of Mooresville Pike, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 in Culleoka. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. James Lunsford and Wendell Ragsdale officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Randall Scott and Freda Brady Scott of Culleoka. He was a 2010 graduate of Culleoka High School. Cameron loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing, swimming, boating, riding his motorcycle and four-wheeling. He was a member of Fly Nazarene Church. In addition to his parents survivors include his sister, Akira (Devin Smithson) Scott of Mt. Pleasant; maternal grandmother, Ann Porter Brady of Columbia; uncles, Ronnie (Gayla) Scott, Jerry (Shirley) Brady, Neal (Teresa) Brady; aunts, Cathy Scott (Tommy) Martin, Delorese Mencer; cousins, Brittney Scott (Jamie) Bowling, Promila Crumley, Jeff Scott, Tammy Scott (Gary) McKissack, Cecil Scott, Carl (Pam) Mencer, Thomas (Melissa) Mencer, Deborah Mencer, Michael (Linda) Mencer, Steve (Kim) Brady, Lori (Sam) Barnes; nieces, Addison Smithson, Chloe Smithson; and the love of his life and companion, Lindsey Anders. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John L. Brady; paternal grandparents, Boyd and Gladys Scott, and uncles, Clyde Scott and T. B. Mencer. Pallbearers include Ethan Rich, Tony Heider, K.J. Wimmer, Brent Smith, Jeffery Moore and Jack Woody.
