Carol Joyce Fleener

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Carol Fleener, who passed away on July 18,2026 at the age of 87.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, and beloved member of the family. Carol was deeply loved and will be remembered for the fun antics, advice and love shared with family and friends throughout her life.

Over her lifetime Carol worked at the Statesman Journal, Valley Rolling Mills and Oakmont Gardens. She enjoyed her work but most of all the relationships she had with coworkers and employers.

She is survived by Maren Sohn, Bob Fleener, Lisa Johnson, Allyson Fleener, Zachary Fleener, and Devyn Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fleener and grandson, Bradley Fleener.

The family is grateful for the love and support shown during this difficult time. A memorial will be held on August 2nd, 2026 at 11:00 located at 42654 Fish Hatchery Rd, Scio OR.

Carol will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
