Carolyn Lee Greenfield

Ms. Carolyn Lee Greenfield, 57, former employee of General Electric, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at her residence on Sheboss Road in the Duck River Community. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Sheboss Cemetery with Elmer Lusk officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. Ms. Greenfield was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Greenfield and Mattie Naomi Simmons Greenfield. She was a graduate of Hampshire High School and was a cat lover who adored her pet cats. Ms. Greenfield was a member of Southpoint Church of Christ. Survivors include her sister, Betty Ruth (Kendrick) JangDhari of Mt. Juliet; a brother, Robert George Greenfield of Duck River; nephew, Nick Nance of Mt. Juliet; great aunt, Maggie Lee McMeen of Duck River; and several cousins. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
