Carolyn Elizabeth Held

Miss Carolyn Elizabeth Held, 75, resident of Enterprise Road in Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Edward Jerome Held and Vera Attkisson Held. She was a 1955 graduate of Hay Long High School. Miss Held had been employed at Weather Tamer and Mt. Pleasant Manufacturing. She was a communicant of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Survivors include several cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Henry Held and a sister, Mary Ann Held. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
