Carolyn Craig Hight

Mrs. Carolyn Fay Craig Hight, 70, died Monday, March 30, 2015 at her home on Randlin Drive in Culleoka. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bryan Bassham and Hueston Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday after 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Scribner's Mill Church of Christ, 2386 Scribner Mill Road, Culleoka, TN 38451 or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1864, Columbia, TN 38402. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Gene Thomas Craig and Mary Martha Elizabeth Murphy Craig. On March 23, 1979 she married Howell Lloyd Hight who preceded her in death October 26, 1986. Mrs. Hight had been employed by General Electric, the Columbia Academy Cafeteria and retired from the Wal-Mart Pharmacy as a retail clerk.She was a member of Scribner's Mill Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Sherri (Jeff) Richardson, Michelle "Mickey" Reese Jones and Misty Leigh Swanson all of Columbia, and Tara Janel Hight of Culleoka; sons, Martin Lloyd (Marye) Hight of Columbia, Daniel Craig Starling of Culleoka, Michael Dean Hight of Nashville; sisters, Dottie (Ray) Morrow, Marie (Nelson) Huey both of Culleoka; brother, Tommy (Cindy) Craig of Columbia; sisters-in-law, Joan Hight and Janice Hight both of Columbia; fourteen grandchild; and eleven great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Blake Osborne, Daniel Starling, Cody Hight, Dylan Swanson, Austin Starling, Mike Goldman, Randy Huey, Steve Huey, Roman Hight, Eric Roberts and Tyler Huey.
