Charles Henry "Chuck" Franklin Jr

View Video TributeView Memorial Webcast Charles Henry "Chuck" Franklin, Jr., 40, tow truck operator with Tennessee Diesel and resident of West Eleventh Street, died Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother John Snow officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Charles Henry Franklin, Sr. and the late Linda Hendrickson Dugger. He enjoyed woodworking, model cars, and outside decorating for Halloween and Christmas. Survivors include his fiancée, Laura Huckabay of Columbia; daughter, Charity Franklin of Abilene, Texas; two sisters, Sheryl (Raleigh) Holtam of Fairview; Melissa Watson of Columbia; one half-sister, Charlene Hosick of Columbia; one brother, Scott Vandiver of Lynnville; one half-brother, Michael Franklin of Columbia; two nieces, Aletta Alarcon and Heather Chunn; uncle, Wayne (Kitty) Overton of Nashville; one great niece; six great nephews; and his extended family, Jay Huckabay, Heather Huckabay, and Mary Huckabay. He was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Franklin.
