Charles L Ward

Mr. Charles L. Ward, 89, resident of Adair Avenue and retired from Vulcan Products, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Life Care Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Polk Memorial Gardens with David Vanwyk officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Jefferson County, Alabama he was the son of the late James L. Ward and Julia Stinson Ward. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Survivors include a cousin, Arthur (Elizabeth) Moore of Anniston, Alabama and special friends, Claudie Lindsey and Ted (Virginia) Lindsey both of Columbia and Phillip (Judy) Lindsey of Huntsville, Alabama.
