Christopher Lee Machuta

Mr. Christopher Lee Machuta, 47, resident of Sowell Mill Pike, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in Maury County. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4 - 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Vallejo, California he was the son of Margaret Machuta of Columbia and the late Kenneth Rae Machuta. He served in the United States Army and was employed in the farming business. He was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and a member of the Baptist faith. Chris had so many talents and had the capability to fix anything. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Machuta of Sheridan, Arkansas; son, Jonathan Machuta of Columbia; daughters, Jenifer Machuta of Thayne, Wyoming, Kristin Machuta of Olympia, Washington; brothers, Greg (Shawn) Machuta of Spring Hill, Jason Machuta of Waterford, Michigan; grandchildren, Eli Lindblom and Brenen Lindblom of Thayne, Wyoming; and nieces and nephews, Cole Machuta of Waterford, Michigan, Kala Russell of College Grove, and Stephanie Russell of Spring Hill.
