Born April 27, 1957 in Florence, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late John Hallmark and the late Norma Jean Fowler Hallmark Dickens. On August 26, 1977 she married David Victor West. For many years she operated a daycare out of her home where she lovingly took care of many children over the years. Cindy was very close to her friends and family so much so that she enjoyed beach trips with them, loved cooking and baking cakes for them, but her greatest joy in life came from her grandchildren that were the highlight of her life. She was a longtime member of Graymere Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband, David West, she is survived by her children, Matt (Paige) West, Adam (Autumn) West, and Natalie (Brad) Drier; brother, Johnny (Angela) Hallmark; grandchildren, Emma West, Reese Drier, Ella West, Charleigh West, Parker Drier, Boone West, Kaitlyn Simpson, Lexie Simpson, Tyler Simpson, and Morgan Simpson; great grandson, Grayson Trahan; nephews and nieces, Austin Hallmark, Tanner (Hannah) Hallmark, Charity Ring, Kristen (Grayson) Gwaltney, Michael (Holly) Paul, Mark (Kim) Turner, Andrea (J.R.) Gillette, Elizabeth (Felipe) Freixo, Smith (Mary Marshall) Jewell, and Chance White; sisters in law, Suzanne Turner, Jennie Grace (Ricky) Jewell, and Charlene (Roy) Paul; and several great nieces and great nephews and numerous dear friends that were like family to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Hallmark.

Active pallbearers will be Austin Hallmark, Tanner Hallmark, Mark Craft, Rick Craft, Eric Lawson, and Jerry Corvin.

A special thank you to Dr. Amit Choksi who went above and beyond his care of duty with his expertise and warm hearted kindness. The family also extends thanks to the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Maury Regional Medical Center.
