View Video Tribute Coleen Harris Pilkinton, 72, resident of Valley Creek Road in the Culleoka Community, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Williamson Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka with Corey Bell officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Nolan Harris and Frances Locke Harris. She was a 1958 graduate of Columbia Central High School and attended Columbia Business College. For a number of years, she was secretary to the president of Storktown, Weather Tamer, and Winning Moves corporations and in recent years served as office manager for Miracle Ear. Mrs. Pilkinton was a long-time member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Earl Thomas Pilkinton, Jr., whom she married March 7, 1958; daughters, Patti (Mike) Foster of Culleoka and Jenny (Roy) Fraser of Murfreesboro; son, Jeff Pilkinton of Culleoka; grandchildren, Michael (Kelsey) Foster of Memphis, Will Foster and Robert (Whitney Pennington) Foster of Columbia, Charlie Fraser and William Fraser of Murfreesboro; great-granddaughter, Mimsie Foster; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Pilkinton, Martha Esslinger, Rachel Ammons, Bennie and Jimmy Pilkinton, and April Pilkinton; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Harris and brother-in-law, David Pilkinton. Serving as pallbearers are Michael Foster, Will Foster, Robert Foster, Charlie Fraser, William Fraser, and Jacob Herring.
