View Funeral WebcastDailey Witherow, 66, owner of Amber Electric & Plumbing Supply and former manager of Charter Communications, died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at his residence on Harris Street. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with David Craig and Edward Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Maury Regional Health Care Foundation, 1224 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia 38401. He was a member of Graymere Church of Christ and former member of the Columbia Rotary Club. His wife and mother of his sons, Mary Frances Lee Witherow, died June 20, 1996. Survivors include his sons, Trenton Dailey Witherow (fiancé Justine Stout) and Trevor Chase Witherow, both of Columbia; a grandchild, Trey Mathew Witherow of Columbia; parents Edna House and Vernon Witherow of Columbia; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Reda Witherow of Columbia; nephews, Will Witherow (fiancé Tabitha Guy) and Scott (Aria) Witherow, both of Nashville. Active pallbearers are Mark Witherow, Buddy Witherow, Wayne Trimble, Larry Witherow, Will Witherow, Scott Witherow, Edward Jones, and Dr. Pitts Hinson. Honorary pallbearers include employees of Amber Electric & Plumbing Supply Company.
