Danny Ray Massey, 42, lifelong resident of Columbia, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A private family service will be held at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born December 16, 1978 in Maury County, he was the son of Kathy Jones Massey. Danny will be sadly and solely missed by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his loving heart, his ability to cuss you but love you at the same time, his unique tattoos, and his scrabble skills. Danny loved his family to no end and will forever be loved and missed. In addition to his mother, Kathy Jones Massey, he is survived by his brother, David (Kayla) Massey; sister, Monoca (Scott) Whitfield; nieces, Desiree, Brenlee, Kyndal; nephews, Austin, Dayton, Easton, Caiden; and lifelong friends, Jeremy Chapman and Dale Slaughter.
