Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Mark Proctor officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He attended Highland Park Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Carson Wade Cole of Columbia; his parents, Emory and Judy Prince Cole of Columbia; sister, Kimberly (Brent) Holt of Columbia; aunts, Janice (Pat) Troope and Sue (Neil) Clark of Columbia; uncles, Bobby (Frances) Prince, Pat (Gail) Prince of Columbia, Gayden (Wendy) Green of Georgia; nephews, Hayden Holt and Spencer Holt; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Russell Prince, Ruby Prince Green, and William M. Green, Jr.; and paternal grandparents, William S. and Maxine Wamsley Cole. Active pallbearers include Chad Clark, Steve Clark, John Clark, Scott Troope, Russ Prince, and Jeremy Prince. Honorary pallbearers are Todd Nelson, Dwight Holt, Nathan Payne, Donald Marshall, and George Otero.
