View Video TributeDaryl Franklin Tomlin, 47, surgical nurse at Maury Regional Medical Center and resident of Miller Lake Road in Lynnville, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ed Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Morton Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Daryl Tomlin Memorial Children's College Fund for his four sons, at any Middle Tennessee Branch of Regions Bank. The Williamson County native was the son of Johnny Franklin Tomlin and Jeanetta Russell Tomlin of Columbia. He was a 1984 graduate of Spring Hill High School, earned Associates degrees in nursing and electronics from Columbia State Community College, and attended Tennessee Tech. Mr. Tomlin was a beloved and devoted husband and father. He would lend a helping hand to anyone-with a smile on his face. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an active member of Bethel Church of Christ and enjoyed attending the "Friday Night Singings". In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife whom he married May 27, 1989, Lucinda "Cindy" Hardison Tomlin of Lynnville; four sons, Andrew Tomlin, Benjamin Tomlin, Toby Tomlin and Ryan Tomlin, all of Lynnville; one sister, Cheryl (Phillip) Howell of Columbia; one brother, Jason (Julie) Tomlin of Spring Hill; mother-in-law, Betty Cheek Hardison of Columbia; several nieces and nephews, and one great nephew. Active pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Phillip Howell, Ricky Hardison, Rusty Hardison, Casey Hardison, Matthew Russell, John Spitzer, and Jeff Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be the surgical staff of Maury Regional Medical Center and members of Bethel Church of Christ.
