David Lee Crowther

Mr. David Lee Crowther, 67, resident of Old Highway 99, died Monday, August 12, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5 - 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, at 1:00 p.m. EST in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana with military honors provided by Vincennes American Legion Post 73. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Vincennes, Indiana native was the son of the late Willard Crowther and Virginia Harvey Crowther. He served in the U. S. Army with the Occupied Forces in Korea. Mr. Crowther was a former owner of Stan's Restaurant and Dairy Queen in Columbia and Franklin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Droste Crowther, who died July 10, 2012. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Jean Crowther, grandson, Dalton Crowther and step-granddaughter, Cierra Colgrove all of Zionsville, Indiana.
