View Funeral Webcast Deborah Jean "Debbie" Parham Smith, 53, retired from Bell South, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at her residence on Golf Club Lane. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Randy Kersey officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of Luther Francis Parham of Columbia and the late Nancy Ann Galbraith Parham. She was a 1974 graduate of Columbia Central High School. On October 5, 1974 she married Stanley Dwayne Smith, Sr. of Columbia who survives. Mrs. Smith loved animals, particularly dogs and cats. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her daughter, Amy Elizabeth (fiancée, Michael Daniel "Danny" Reid) Smith of Columbia; son, Stan Smith, Jr. of Columbia; granddaughter, Kara Ann Smith of Columbia; sister, Amy Kelley of Columbia; two brothers, Terry (Pam) Parham of Culleoka, Mark Parham of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Travis Kelley. Pallbearers will be Wayne Dugger, Dana Davis, Michael Reid, Randy Frazier, Ricky Frazier, Ronnie Frazier, Bobby Frazier and Wallace Davis. Honorary pallbearers include Paul Mahar, Mark Parham, Terry Parham, John Kelley, Josh Cozart, Seth White, Jason Puckett, Andrew Cedillo, Nola Workman and Shannon Sellers.
