Denise Elaine Cooper Wheeler

Denise Elaine Cooper Wheeler, 69, retired production operator for APCOM in Franklin for over 20 years, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at her residence on Kettle Mills Road in Hampshire. Born September 23, 1951 in Muncie, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late John Leon Cooper and the late Betty Lou Conrad Cooper. Mrs. Wheeler enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Columbia. Survivors include her husband, William Lee Wheeler of Hampshire; son, Chris (Kelley) Wheeler of Spring Hill; daughter, Staci (Maurice) Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Darlene (Lige) Stephens of Muncie, Indiana; and Dee Ann (Joe) Turner of Tampa, Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Cooper.
