Donald K "Donnie" Alexander

Donald Keith Alexander, 57, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at his residence in Columbia. A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Craft Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Angy Trimmer officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the church. The Maury County native was the son of Porter Alexander of Columbia and the late Hattie Luttrell Alexander. He was a 1977 graduate of Culleoka High School. A sports enthusiast, Mr. Alexander was an avid UT football and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed playing softball and fishing. He loved socializing with friends and made all events fun. In addition to his father, he is survived by sons, Justin (Mercedes) Alexander of Columbia; Jason (Stephanie) Alexander of Murfreesboro; sisters, Sharon Mitchell of Columbia; Amanda (Troy) Hargrove of Santa Fe; Christy Parrish of Boston, Massachusetts; and stepmother, Paula Alexander. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald E. Alexander; paternal grandparents, Henry & Ola Mai Alexander; and maternal grandparents, James & Nannie Mae Luttrell.
