View Funeral WebcastDonald Charles "Donny" Blanchard, 58, former resident of Columbia employee of the Maintenance Department of the Maury County Board of Education, died Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Family and friends will gather Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols concluding with funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. He was a native of Buffalo, New York, son of the late Joan Humann Blanchard, and worked at one time for an optical company. Survivors include a half-sister, Molly Camp of Bradenton, Florida and a half-brother, Bruce Blanchard of Richmond, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
