Donna Lynn Collins Hardy, retired nurse for over 30 years at Maury Regional Medical Center and resident of Columbia, died Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Centennial Medical Center. No services are scheduled at this time. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born September 13, 1967 in Philadelphia, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Nelda Bernice Lee and the late Michael D. Collins. Mrs. Hardy enjoyed gardening, flowers, going to the beach, photography, lighthouses, making and decorating cakes, Christmas, making soap and crafts, and music, especially Bob Seger and Elvis. Most of all she loved spending time with children and grandchildren. She was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star. In addition to her mother, Nelda Bernice Lee of Columbia; survivors include her husband, Jeff Hardy of Columbia; children, Brandi Eubanks (Jimmy) McKinley of Brewton, Alabama; Kristyn Gordon of Columbia; step children, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Hardy, Jr of Columbia; Lindsay Hardy (Brian) Weaver of Columbia; Jonathan (Andrea) Hardy of Columbia; grandchildren, Wyatt Eubanks Cheyenne McKinley, Waylon McKinley; step grandchildren, Sutherland Hardy, Holt Hardy, Benjamin Weaver, Charlotte Hardy, Vera Sue Hardy, Waylon Hardy, Theo Hardy; siblings, Jimmy (Jennifer) Collins, Martha (Dillan) Ladner, Joshua Cornelius, Lewis Collins; and niece and nephew, Jonah Collins and Amy Speights. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Cornelius. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Johnathan Abbas, Dr. Patton, and staff of Sarah Cannon Cancer Center.
