Doris Green Kelley

Doris Isabell Green Kelley, 84, resident of River Road in Ashland City, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Christian Care Nursing Home in Ashland City. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Andrew Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com.The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Walker Douglas Green and Nancy Belle Sanders Green. She married Adam Kelley who preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Kelley was a homemaker and a member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Wanda Gayden of Goodletsville, Nancy Elaine (Jeff Orange) Durard of Ashland City, Cindy Howard of Phenix City, Alabama, and Mark Hopkins of Nashville; great nieces and great nephews, Lisa Moss, Carly Durard, Keith Orange and Scott (Bridgett) Durard; great great nieces and great great nephews, Brooklyn Finch, Brandon Moss, Cody Moss and Tyler Durard. Nephews, great nephews and great great nephews will serve as active pallbearers.
