View Funeral Webcast View Video Tribute Doris Marie Felker Cole, 91, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 19, 2022 her home in Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Chris Norwood. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Doris was born July 28, 1930, in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Roscoe Felker and the late Lola Foster Felker. Doris loved many things like music, flowers, movies, and her family. Doris was seamstress for Dixie Manufacturing in Columbia for many years. She was married to John William Cole, Jr. for 43 years until his death on July 31, 2002. Doris was a wonderful woman, who loved with all her heart and always put her family first. She was loved by anyone that met her and will be missed by everyone. She leaves behind her daughter, Lisa Mullins of Alaska; grandchildren, Jennifer Cole (Joe Cammuse) of Smyrna; Jamie Cole of Murfreesboro; Shannon Cole (Joseph Casanova) of Murfreesboro; Sarah Cole of Murfreesboro; Jacob Mullins of Eagle River, Alaska; great grandchildren, Cameron Cammuse, Braxton Cammuse, Maycie Cammuse, Liam Cole, Malayna Cammuse, Everleigh Cole; several nieces and nephews.
