Doris Fitzgerald Allen Russell

Doris Fitzgerald Allen Russell, age 91, passed away January 20, 2015. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday at 1:00 P.M. in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with Rev. Eugene Martino Jr. officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday at 3:00 P.M. at Santa Fe Cemetery with Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home assisting the family. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at Woodlawn Funeral Home. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Commodore Fitzgerald and Lettie Brown Fitzgerald. The family request memorials to Santa Fe Cemetery Association, c/o Norman Harris, 1331 Crofton Park Drive, Columbia, TN 38401or Lambuth Church in Gallatin. Survivors include her children, Willedean (Creighton) Crockett and Larry (Linda) Allen; sister, Mary Helen Woody of Columbia; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by loving husbands, Harold Allen and Allen Russell and sisters, Lorene Pigg and Margarette Woody. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
