Mrs. Doris Goad Wiley, retired Tennessee Valley Packing Company and former resident of Alpine Drive, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with David Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She also worked for several years at Kroger Company. Mrs. Wiley was a long-time member of Highland Church of Christ. She was married in 1941 to Burnice Floyd Wiley who preceded her in death August 27, 1984. Survivors include her daughter, Pat(Wayne) Carden of Franklin; sister, Joyce Savage of Gallatin; grandson, Danny (Melissa) Bardayan of Farragut; great-grandchildren, Mack Bardayan and Grant Bardayan. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dot Alverson. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family expresses appreciation to the Staff of Sterling House for their care and concern during her illness.
