View Funeral WebcastMrs. Dorlene Mills Collins, 81, resident of Moore Circle, died Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wayne B. Hardison officiating. Burial will follow in Morton Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 1 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Lincoln County native was the daughter of the late William Mills and Louise Hardison Mills. On July 26, 1951 she married Clyde Thomas "Rip" Collins, Jr. who preceded her in death on August 29, 2007. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include a grandson, Thomas Lee Collins of Kentucky; great granddaughter, Leah Collins of Kentucky; great grandsons, Tyler Collins and Randy Collins both of Kentucky; cousin, Martha Laverne (Joe W.) West of Fayetteville; second cousins, JoAnn Scott of Fayetteville, Juandell Groce of Smyrna and Jerry McCaleb of Winchester. She was preceded in death by a son, James Anthony Collins on February 12, 1997. Active pallbearers will be Earl Robinson, Eddie Dooley, Doug Gauthier, Jeff Cox, and Jerry McCaleb.
