Ms. Dorothy Jean “Dot” Miller, 86, died Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Franklin, Tennessee. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 11:00-1:00 at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was born on June 18, 1935 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late David Wesley Ogle and the late Novella Mae Ogle. She was a Christian. Survivors include, daughter Michelle (Charles) Talbott; sons, Benjamin (Gayle) Hilyer, Michael (Jackie) Hilyer, Richard Hilyer and William Bostick; grandchildren, Stephanie Lowe, Stacy Davis, Leslie Douglas, Shelby Graves, Shannon Talbott and Summer Parry; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Irene Winnard and brother, Bob Ogle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters Francis Lee, Evelyn Higgins, Anne Estrada and Nancy Lindsey; brothers David Ogle Jr., John Ogle and Harlan Ogle; grandson, Bryan Bostick.
