View Video Tribute Dorothy Ann Agee Pate, 85, retired from the Walmart Garden Center and resident of Valley Drive, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at NHC Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Edward Anderson officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Witcher Cemetery in the Bagdad Community of Jackson County. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She married Druey Donel Pate on December 15, 1948. Their thirty-eight year marriage ended with his death July 16, 1987. She was a member of Graymere Church of Christ. Survivors include her son, Roy (Linda Jo) Pate of Columbia; grandchildren, Berrie Pate Smith of Columbia, Jeremy Joseph (Brooke) Pate of Northport, Alabama, and Brewster Neal (Shelby) Pate of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Hadleigh Belle "Haddie" Pate, Samuel Owen "Sam" Pate, Chris Smith, Ava Catherine Pate, and Greta Elizabeth Pate; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by eleven sisters and brothers. Serving as pallbearers are Paul Agee, Mike Agee, Tim Agee, Mark Bray, Kevin Bray, and Bennett Corley.
