Video Memories of Mrs. PilkintonMrs. Dorothy Lee Toungette Pilkinton, 87, homemaker and former longtime resident of Santa Fe Pike, died Sunday, October 16, 2005, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Randy Kersey officiating. Burial will be in John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge. The Davidson County native was the daughter of the late William Porter Toungette and Ida Dicus Toungette. She was married to Guy Felix Pilkinton who preceded her in death on November 5, 1985. Mrs. Pilkinton was a member of Philippi Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Ann (Stanley) Watson of Franklin; Mrs. Donna Sue (Ray) Walters of Columbia; four sons, Louie (Orenne) Pilkinton, Douglas Pilkinton, Billy Ray (Betty) Pilkinton, Roger Glenn (Shirley) Pilkinton, all of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Hollibaugh of Dayton, Ohio; two half-brothers, Charlie Toungette and Howard Toungette, both of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, William Toungette, three sisters, Lacy Toungette, Addie Mae Nelson, Angeline Toungette; one half-brother, Ben Toungette; and two half-sisters. Pallbearers will be Greg Pilkinton, Kevin Watson, Casey Pilkinton, Shannon Pilkinton, Allen Toungette, and Tommy Hanvy. Honorary pallbearers will be elders of Philippi Church of Christ, Dr. Gaylon Harris, Second Floor Nursing Staff at Maury Regional Hospital; and Nursing Staff at Life Care Center.
