View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Dugin Moore Kincaid, 88, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at his residence on Double Branch Road. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Nathan Hagood and Clay Gentry officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late William Allen Kincaid and Sarah Katherine Moore Kincaid. He served in the United States Army during World War II. On July 9, 1954 he married Neva Pearl Weaver Kincaid who survives him. During his early years Mr. Kincaid worked for an overall factory and Allis Chalmers Equipment Company. He spent most of his life farming raising dairy and beef cattle and also vegetables and an orchard. He was a member of Lanton Church of Christ in Spring Hill. Survivors in addition to his wife include his children David M. (Vicky) Kincaid of Columbia, Rachel (Allen) Neeley of Athens, Alabama, Sara (Roger) Toombs of Columbia, Mary (Mark) Haynes of Ethridge, and Donnie Spires who he regarded as a son; grandchildren Wade (Jessica) Kincaid, Steve (Amber) Kincaid, Stan (Coelina) Kincaid, Ashley (Chris) Barnett all of Columbia, Jordan (Missy) Toombs of Florence, AL, Damon Toombs of Columbia, Cord, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Jonathan Haynes all of Ethridge, Jacob, Kathryn, Sara Beth Neeley all of Athens, AL, Jackie Smith of Lawrenceburg, Amarie Risner of Lyles, Anna Harvley of Columbia; great-grandchildren Blake, Hailey, Jase, Peyton, Braxton, Aleigha, Caleb, David Cole Kincaid, Ethan and Abigail Smith, Keira and Kiley Risner, Isaiah and Dakota Harvley; sister-in-law Billie Kincaid and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Buster Kincaid, Ivie Kincaid, W.A. Kincaid and Arnell Kincaid and sisters, Allyne Johnson, Varelle Chappell, Bonnie Peters, Ruth Winchester, Nadine Kincaid. Pallbearers will be Wade Kincaid, Stan Kincaid, Steve Kincaid, Jordan Toombs, Jacob Neeley, Cord Haynes, Jonathan Haynes, Chris Barnett and Damon Toombs. Honorary pallbearers will be special friends and helpers, John and Bette Ryan, Charles and Shirley Rankin, Donnie Spires, and nieces and nephews.
